Our Mission

Our Mission for ice hockey and skating in Wausau is simple: create more chances for people of all ages to get on the ice and enjoy it, whether they are stepping on the ice for the first time, playing in a local league, or pursuing the dream of playing at the highest levels. Hockey and skating in general continue to grow across Central Wisconsin, and that growth has increased demand for ice time for youth programs, high school teams, and community use. We see a clear need for more available ice to keep up with families who want to participate.

Wausau is also well positioned to welcome others because of its central location. With a reliable year-round schedule, the community could host more games, training clinics, and camps that draw teams and participants from across the region. These events create more opportunities for people to spend time in Wausau and experience everything our community has to offer.
